Extracted Content: The nine-decade-old Andhra University is all set to launch a separate management college, which is tipped to be on par with any of the top B-Schools in the country. It has already got an MBA department under the College of Commerce and Management and this new programme would be a separate entity with its own board, faculty and funding.
“AU is the first university in the country to start a management programme and continuing the legacy, we will launch a new MBA programme from this academic year. It will not be a part of the existing department,” Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao told The Hindu, adding that the course structure, content, design and methodology would be on par with the IIMs and other top B-Schools.
