The fallout has been steadily spreading. From Wall Street to Hollywood, parents charged in the alleged conspiracy have been dismissed or placed on leave at work. A looming question is what happens to students who may be currently enrolled. USC said it was reviewing those students individually, while Stanford had identified one student and was trying to “better understand the circumstances around this student,” the university said.
