Extracted Content: Dr. Sergio Castello, associate professor of financial economics, has been promoted to dean of the Porter B. Byrum School of Business, effective immediately. Castello replaces Dr. Peter Frank, who left the department in December to take over as provost and vice president of academic affairs at his alma mater, Grove City (Pa.) College.

Castello was in his fourth year as assistant dean of the Byrum School of Business and had been serving as interim dean since Frank’s departure. After a nationwide search, he was selected over candidates from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, East Carolina University and the University of Dallas.
