Nezavisimaya Gazeta, one of Russia’s leading independent papers, referring to data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, reported that currently an estimated 75,000 Russian students are studying in foreign universities and that these figures are expected to jump to 120,000-130,000 within the next couple of years.
