The degree will be offered starting in Fall 2020 and will offer several STEM-focused courses including Statistics & Quantitative Methods, Applied Data Mining, and Development of Support Networks. The university said the new graduate degree will help meet the demand for professionals with skill sets focused in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, especially at the technology companies that are popping up all over Pittsburgh.
