Extracted Content: Abstract – Economic development and progression in India needs to be absorbed down into all sections of the society and contribution of the corporate towards social development in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key factor for achieving the goal of equitable development. The CSR mandate as per section 135 of the New Companies Act enforced in 2014 has attached more importance to the concept and it is the need of the hour to sensitise present and future beholders of social responsibility with the concept of CSR and the need of successful implementation of CSR mandate. The paper studies sensitivity of MBA students towards CSR and finds out differences in sensitivity of marketing stream and finance stream towards CSR. The study conducted on 600 MBA 2nd year students selected through random stratified sampling, using descriptive survey method, found that students of marketing stream and finance stream differ significantly on variable of sensitivity towards CSR. The study highlights the need for developing strategies for sensitising management students regarding social responsibility.
