Extracted Content: Companies in the US are now more reluctant to hire newly graduated foreign MBA students than the same period last year, according to research on global admissions.
The proportion of US-based employers that said they were planning to hire overseas graduates has dipped from 55 per cent to 47 per cent in a year, according to data compiled by the Graduate Management Admission Council. It surveyed 1,066 employers in 42 countries.
In contrast, the percentage of European companies that told GMAC they planned to hire non-EU citizens from MBA courses was up slightly at 65 per cent, compared with 64 per cent in last year’s poll.
